If you were a footballer, who would it be and why: I did play professionally myself, but I would have liked to follow the footsteps of Mark Bosnich. He was my childhood hero and he grew up in Australia and tried his fortunes in England as a teenager, as a goalkeeper. He was an outstanding goalkeeper playing for Aston Villa, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Message under your shirt after scoring the World Cup winning goal for your country:  “I told you so” – a message in the legacy of Australian football legend Johnny Warren.
