A-League form

Last weekend's tips brought out some of my very best form on the A-League front, so we will be hoping for a similar outcome this time around I'm sure, starting tonight with the Newcastle-Adelaide clash. The home side to win at $1.83 looks a fantastic bet, while both teams to score is an option that must not be taken lightly.

A very interesting betting game kicks off Saturday's triple header as Sydney host Wellington. Paying $3.80 the visitors should be considered great value to win, however in a roughie, I'm tipping the home side will get the points, and win to nil paying a cool $3.66. Melbourne Victory could do likewise against the Gold Coast, but back the draw here at $3.40 or Harry Kewell to score at any time at $2.60, while in the final Saturday game the Brisbane Roar will win away to the Perth Glory in my A-League value bet of the round.

On Sunday, Melbourne Heart will be looking to make it two wins on the trot for the first time in a long time against the league leaders Central Coast. It will be a low scoring affair, so take under 2.5 goals, however the Mariners are the pick to win, despite their inconsistent form of late.

EPL is back

EPL action resumes this weekend, headlined by a massive North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal at the Emirates. Deflated and lacking any form of confidence, the Gunners are no chance to win this one, and so my EPL value bet of the round is most certainly Tottenham to win at incredible odds of $2.87. Both teams are likely to score, and Robin van Persie to score at any time is a likely outcome, but there is only one option for the overall result.

Manchester United are paying $1.53 to win at Norwich, but don't be surprised if that game ends all square, but definitely take under 2.5 goals there. Chelsea should win at home to Bolton, but who knows, while Manchester City will destroy Blackburn, scoring at least three goals in the process.

Elsewhere in England, Newcastle will win against Wolves so take them at $1.57, Swansea will win or draw at Stoke, Sunderland are at great value of $3 to win at West Brom, and both teams will score in the Wigan-Aston Villa clash.

There is also the small matter of the Carling Cup final this weekend as well. Liverpool and Championship side Cardiff meet at Wembley, in what surely will end the Reds mini title drought. Take Liverpool to win in normal time at $1.40. 1-0 for a correct score line, while under 2.5 goals looks a definite chance.

In Italy, there is a massive game as Juventus travel to the San Siro stadium to take on rivals AC Milan in a title deciding clash. All to play for here for both sides, but the undefeated Juve are likely to extend that run, with a draw the likely result. Take the visitors to win or draw at $1.63, while the both teams to score option is another certainty. Napoli will thump an out of sorts Inter side at the San Paolo, while the resurgent Roma at $2.40 odds are my Serie A value bet of the round to win away to Atalanta. 

In Spain, Atletico Madrid are paying an outrageous $7.50 to defeat a Barcelona side who have had their troubles on the road all season, and for that reason they are my La Liga value bet of the round - at least to win or draw! Real Madrid will win again away to Rayo Vallecano, while Espanyol should be far too strong for Levante at home.

Elsewhere in Europe, both teams will definitely score in the high profiled French clash between Lyon and PSG - put your house on it. Borussia Dortmund are an absolute lock in Germany, Twente and Roda JC should be taken in Holland, Porto and Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, and Celtic to win in Scotland.
