|Alberto Aquilani nearing permanent move from Liverpool to Juventus – Agent|
According to Alberto Aquilani’s agent, Franco Zavaglia, the midfielder should make his move from Liverpool to Juventus permanent within the next few days.
Aquilani, who left Roma two years ago for Liverpool, spent just one season with the Reds, before being shipped out on loan to Juve, where he rediscovered some of his best form.
Despite still having three years remaining on his Liverpool contract, Aquilani is keen to remain with the Bianconeri in Italy. His agent is optimistic that the two clubs will reach an agreement shortly.
“The percentage that Aquilani will remain at Juve is above 50 per cent,” his agent said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He has three years left on his contract with Liverpool, but I believe that in a couple of days the two clubs will reach an agreement.”
There has been some concern in relation to the £16 million buy-out clause that the English club have requested, however Zavaglia believes that finances won’t cause any issues in the agreement.
He added: “Juve should have paid £16 million for the buy-out clause, but I don’t think there will be any problems regarding the financial aspects.
“I believe within the next week everything will be resolved.”
