Stoke City have given Mario Balotelli’s younger brother Enoch a trial in the hope that he can emulate the impact made by his sibling in the Premier League. Enoch has been training with the Stoke youth side for a while now however he played his first game for the reserves earlier this week against Burton Albion. The game was rather dull however Balotelli Jr showed some nice touches and also showed that showboating runs in the family, before coming off in the 82nd minute with cramp. Stoke academy coach Dave Kevan told the Stoke Sentinel: "He's been with training with us for a while and it was good to give him a run out. He's a good boy but a little bit raw at the moment. We will just have to see how things go." If Enoch manages to earn himself a contract at Stoke he and Mario will become the third set of brother currently applying their trade in the Premier League alongside; Anton and Rio Ferdinand, and Rafael and Fabio da Silva. |
