|Udinese need game of their lives against Atletico Madrid - Francesco Guidolin|
Tomorrow Udinese face Atletico Madrid at the Stadio Friuli in their third Europa League group match. The two clubs are joint first in Group I, making it a very important match.
Coach Francesco Guidolin feels his team are ready for this clash.
“Atletico Madrid are perhaps the strongest team in the group, we will send a balanced team on the pitch to do well against this type of opponent,” he said, as reported on Goal.com Italia.
“They say they have problems up front but I don’t think so, they have good strikers and I don’t think they have problems there.”
Udinese will come up against Diego, who is known to Italian football due to his short stint at Juventus.
“Diego is a player of great class, when he finds the right team he can do really well,” Guidolin continued. “We’ll have to avoid too many balls coming his way, we’ll need to play as a team. However, all of Atletico are a team to be feared, they always play with the ball on the ground, like a typical Spanish team. We need to play the game of our lives.”
