Carlo Ancelotti has described Barcelona as boring, while praising former club AC Milan for their efforts in the 2-2 Champions League draw at Camp Nou.
The Italian, who won two Champions League trophies during his time at San Siro was impressed with the way Milan were able to thwart Pep Guardiola's men from coming forward.
"At times Barcelona were a little boring and picky," Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.
"Barcelona were also superficial, but Milan went on the pitch with the right attitude."
Ancelotti hailed Thiago Silva who scored the last-gasp equalising goal after Pedro and David Villa put Barcelona ahead following Alexandre Pato's early strike.
"Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva were excellent and they never allowed Barcelona to play on their shoulder," he added.
"This stopped Bacelona from creating many chances.
"Milan left them little space and so they deserved the result."
The Italians travel to Napoli in Serie A on Sunday night, but they may be without captain Massimo Ambrosini who sustained a shoulder injury in Spain.
