AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani admits his club were lucky to escape with a 2-2 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Alexandre Pato scored the opener at Camp Nou in the first minute, but the game was turned on its head when goals from Pedro and David Villa saw the home side go 2-1 up.
However, Thiago Silva grabbed the equalising goal with just seconds to go to earn a point.
"We had plenty of luck against Barcelona," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
"They know how to play the ball and you can never get it off them."
However, there was praise for his side as they thwarted Spanish efforts.
"I saw an excellent performance in defence. We suffered a lot with Dani Alves' runs, but then Thiago Silva scored the goal," the chief added.
Speaking of the opposition, Galliani was keen to underline their strengths.
"Barcelona's real strength is that their strikers come back to defend. They give a hand to the rest and so it seems like they are playing with more men," he concluded.
Milan's focus will turn to Napoli who they play at the San Paolo on Sunday in Serie A.
