AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has described their Champions League Group H clash against Barcelona at Camp Nou as a "world derby".
Despite being without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who suffered an adductor injury during training on Monday, Galliani believes his side can be the standard bearers in Spain.
"Barcelona are the strongest team in the world, but Milan have won the most titles," Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I think this can be called the derby of world football."
Former Milan defender Francesco Coco played for both sides, and he offered some sage advice for the Italians.
"I think Milan need to run more than Barcelona if they are to win because the Spanish side are always moving, that is how they win," Coco said.
Kick-off at Camp Nou is at 20:45 (CET) on Tuesday night.
